The Continuing Education Conference returned to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta this year, bringing Contractors from across the Linc Service and TEGG networks together in-person to celebrate successes and share in educational sessions.
The 2023 theme Building Strategies for Success focused on putting the principles of service and technical expertise into practice to ensure clients’ facility infrastructure drove improvements to their businesses. Topics included leadership and workplace culture, regulations and safety, and key skills in communication, sales management, and technology, including special sessions led by ABM Technical Services’ eMobility Team on trends in electrical vehicle charging infrastructure.
ABM Franchising Group hosts Continuing Education annually to provide educational and networking opportunities for franchises across the Linc Service and TEGG networks. 2023’s Signature Sponsors were Intellirent, a division of Electro Rent, and Sunbelt Rentals. Over 40 sponsors participated in the event’s Vendor Showcase.
In an awards presentation on the final day of the conference, Total Comfort Solutions – Greenville was was named the Linc Service Contractor of the Year. “This isn’t a miraculous one-year story, but a three-year, purposeful transformation,” said Kelly Pnacek of ABM Franchising Group during her announcement of the award and congratulatory remarks, in which she also noted their annual maintenance base growth of 71%.
The Linc Service Contractor of the Year Award is presented annually by ABM Franchising Group to the most outstanding Linc Service contractor. Criteria for achieving the award is based on, but not limited to, implementation of the Linc Service system and overall sales activity and performance.
